HONEY is a USD-pegged stablecoin native to the Berachain network. It is minted by depositing whitelisted collateral into vaults, with mint and redeem parameters set by BGT governance. Collateral is held in separate vaults, allowing BGT governance to pause or reprice individual vaults without freezing the entire system if a custodian changes terms or a bridge raises concerns.
