GEOD is the utility token of the GEODNET network. It is used to reward operators of GNSS base stations, pay for RTK positioning data services, and participate in governance decisions. The network uses a decentralized infrastructure model to build a global RTK correction network, where token incentives enable individuals to deploy reference stations that provide centimeter-level positioning accuracy to devices within a 20 to 40 kilometer range.
