Sushi SUSHI

1 · Decentralized Finance · Ethereum Ecosystem · Exchange Tokens · Governance

SUSHI is the governance token of SushiSwap. It is used to vote on protocol proposals and can be staked in the SushiBar contract to receive xSUSHI, which entitles holders to a portion of protocol trading fees. Protocol fees from trades are used to buy back SUSHI on the open market, with purchased tokens distributed to the xSUSHI pool as a buyback mechanism that benefits stakers.
