SKY is the governance token of Sky Protocol, replacing MakerDAO's MKR token at a conversion rate of 1:24,000. It is used to vote on protocol decisions, stake for rewards, and borrow USDS stablecoin against staked positions. The protocol's Endgame strategy introduced SKY to enhance scalability and DeFi accessibility while allowing holders to convert back to MKR at any time.
