RSR is the governance token of the Reserve Protocol. It is used for staking to provide overcollateralization and governance on token baskets, earning a share of revenue in return. Stakers act as insurance providers, absorbing losses if collateral defaults, which protects basket holders while creating a risk-reward mechanism for RSR holders.
