Zhao Changpeng: U.S. law enforcement agencies assist in tracking and freezing stolen funds from Binance

Binance co-founder Zhao Changpeng stated that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the United States Secret Service (USSS), and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) provided significant assistance in the Binance theft incident, including tracking and freezing assets.

Zhao Changpeng expressed gratitude to the relevant agencies and believes that their work is one of the important reasons why Bitcoin did not decline further.

Previously, the FBI stated that North Korea is responsible for the theft of over $6 billion in virtual assets from Binance and, along with the USSS and IRS Criminal Investigation Division, observed that the attackers primarily exchanged the stolen assets for ETH.
