Trump threatens to "strike Iran hard at some point," Iran warns it will spark a longer war.

TechFlow: On November 2, according to Xinhua News Agency, U.S. President Trump once again threatened to resume military strikes against Iran at a campaign rally in Iowa on November 1, stating, “The only reason I haven’t finished off Iran is that I want to be a good guy,” but at “some point,” the U.S. will have to deliver a “heavy hammer” blow to Iran. The U.S. midterm elections are scheduled for November 3.

On October 31, Trump had stated that the U.S. has destroyed most of Iran’s military capabilities, but still needs to “handle” one or two targets, including the underground nuclear facility at Fordow. Additionally, former Fox News host Tucker Carlson posted on social media late on November 1 that, under pressure from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the U.S. government could launch an attack on Fordow in central Iran within days. Israeli intelligence agencies claimed that Iran has already restarted its uranium enrichment program at the site. This claim has not yet been independently confirmed.
