SlowMist Discloses On-Chain Connections of Addresses Related to North Korean IT Personnel Sanctions List

on November 5, according to SlowMist monitoring, there are on-chain connections among addresses associated with the North Korean IT personnel network sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury.

SlowMist stated that OFAC listed the same Ethereum address under both Boykov and Obertas. Boykov transferred approximately $9.88 million to this address; his two TRON addresses also cumulatively transferred 1.66 million USDT to an address attributed to Obertas.

Additionally, the Ethereum addresses of Boykov and Kim Ki Hyok have both previously sent transfers to the same Bybit deposit address, with amounts of approximately $4 million and 50,000 DAI, respectively. The U.S. Treasury announced sanctions against 10 individuals and 1 entity linked to the North Korean IT personnel network on October 28.
