SK Hynix Q3 Revenue Surpasses 100 Trillion Won for First Time, Up 328% Year on Year

on October 28, SK Hynix announced its fiscal third-quarter 2026 results, posting revenue of 104.62 trillion KRW, up 32% quarter-over-quarter and 328% year-over-year, versus expectations of 98.96 trillion KRW; operating profit of 83.33 trillion KRW, up 38% qoq and 632% yoy, versus expectations of 77.5 trillion KRW; and net profit of 39.78 trillion KRW, up 216% yoy and down 58% qoq, versus expectations of 59.66 trillion KRW. The third quarter operating margin reached 80%, and net profit margin stood at 38%. Both revenue and operating profit hit quarterly record highs, with revenue surpassing 100 trillion KRW for the first time.

The company stated that growing AI storage demand drove price increases for core products, while expanded sales of HBM4, server DDR5, and enterprise solid-state drives (eSSD) fueled earnings growth.

SK Hynix plans to repurchase 20 trillion KRW worth of shares and aims to return approximately 100 trillion KRW to shareholders in 2026, including cash dividends exceeding 30 trillion KRW.
