b14g: Core hard fork recovers approximately 68.15 million CORE

on November 2, according to an official announcement by b14g, the Core Network recovered 68,146,177.22 CORE through a hard fork from addresses controlled by three attackers. The October 31 security incident affected approximately 97,045,563 CORE in total.

This recovery was executed via a one-time state adjustment to transfer the stolen funds to designated recovery addresses, without rolling back transactions, minting additional tokens, or altering the total supply of CORE. The recovered tokens have not yet been distributed to affected users, and related funds held or frozen by exchanges have also not been returned.

b14g stated that it is coordinating with exchanges and law enforcement to recover frozen assets, while verifying affected balances and developing a distribution plan; currently, there is no official claims process.
