Jun Song: has declined the invitation to train on vulnerability data from an anonymous black hat organization

Open source AI practitioner Jun Song posted on X, stating that an anonymous black hat organization contacted him yesterday, proposing a reinforcement learning request and offering a very high amount of money to commission him for post-training on open source weight models, using exploit data. Jun Song also operates a hardware export business for data centers in South Korea and is promoting the project 0xSupergemma.

Jun Song mentioned that the other party claimed the scale of the attack data they possess is unprecedented for him, and even if someone said this is a law enforcement undercover dataset, he would believe it. In contrast, a white hat project he participated in used GLM-5.3, with data volume less than 1% of that scale, and its performance has already significantly surpassed cutting-edge models. He has rejected the request and expressed his real concern that ultimately someone else might accept this deal.
