Approximately 1.28 billion USDT held across two addresses have been frozen.

on October 30, according to monitoring by Whale Alert, two addresses holding substantial USDT balances were frozen at 05:10 and 05:11 Beijing Time. One address held approximately 312,729,468 USDT (valued at around $313 million), and the other held approximately 971,149,299 USDT (valued at around $971 million), totaling roughly $1.28 billion.

USDT issuer Tether can freeze designated addresses at the contract level, making USDT within frozen addresses unable to be transferred. The identities of the frozen addresses and the reasons for the freeze have not yet been publicly disclosed. It remains unclear whether this is linked to the abnormal outflow from Binance's hot wallets earlier today. TechFlow will continue to monitor the situation.
