Solflare Validator Node Provider Security Incident, SOL Staking Rewards Suspended
on October 28, Solflare announced that its SOL staking service provider suffered a security incident affecting the Solflare validator node keys held by the provider. An investigation is currently underway. As a result, Solflare validator nodes are temporarily unable to generate staking rewards. Solflare emphasized that user-delegated SOL remains in staking accounts controlled by users' private keys, and user funds have not been affected.
The team is currently migrating to new validator nodes. An upcoming app update will guide users through the migration process, and compensation plans will be implemented for those who complete the transition. Staking rewards will be suspended during the migration period, and users do not need to take any action at this time. Solflare reminds users that migrations will only occur through the official application and requests will never be sent via direct messages or external links.
