Kimi apologizes for K3.1 Pro quota consumption issues, will restore 25% monthly usage quota for all subscribers

Kimi officially posted on X, apologizing for the usage frequency limits and unnecessary quota consumption issues with the K3.1 Pro subscription plan, acknowledging that the issues were caused by the platform itself and should have been resolved earlier.

As compensation, Kimi will perform a one-time quota reset for all subscription plan users, restoring usage equivalent to 25% of the total monthly quota, roughly equal to one week's quota; if a user's current usage is less than 25%, their usage will be reset to zero. The relevant adjustments will be reflected in the usage progress bar before the end of the day Pacific Standard Time (PST).

Additionally, Kimi has adjusted subscription plan parameters and will reduce unnecessary sub-agent calls and output length to lower user quota consumption.
