Tempo Launches Lending Service, Allowing Bolivian Users to Borrow Uncollateralized USDT

on November 6, according to The Defiant, payment blockchain Tempo has launched credit services that connect businesses with third-party lenders to provide financing for corporate operations and customer loans. Eligible El Dorado wallet users in Bolivia can now obtain USDT loans without requiring locked crypto collateral.

The report notes that Tala is responsible for providing funds, vetting borrowers, and bearing credit risk, while El Dorado provides the wallet and customer relationships; loan disbursements and repayments are conducted through the Tempo network. Third-party lenders independently determine pricing and financing terms, and Tempo itself does not provide lending funds.
