US Charges 6 Individuals with NFT Wallet Theft Fraud, With Over $510,000 in Losses

According to TechFlow, on October 28, The Defiant reported that U.S. prosecutors have charged six individuals suspected of participating in a Madagascar-based NFT wallet theft scam. According to an FBI affidavit, the case involves 74 wallets linked to victims, with losses amounting to at least $516,695. The affidavit also details how the group induced victims to grant unlimited USDT approval rights, enabling them to drain the assets.
