Gemini Co-Founder: Zcash Doesn't Need to Reinvent Governance Mechanisms; Privacy Is Its True Goal

TechFlow reported that on October 30, Gemini co-founder Cameron Winklevoss stated that Zcash does not need to reinvent governance mechanisms, as capital markets have employed stakeholder voting for centuries, and tokenholder voting is simply the on-chain implementation of this mechanism. In his view, governance experiments are not the core mission of Zcash; privacy remains its true goal. He also called for the termination of the Zcash Community Grants (ZCG) to eliminate the associated disruptions and misaligned incentives.
