on October 26, Kimi issued an official apology regarding the request rate limits and unnecessary quota consumption associated with the K3.1 Pro subscription plan, and announced a one-time usage reset for all subscription users. The reset will restore usage equivalent to 25% of the monthly quota, approximately equal to one week's allowance. If a user's currently consumed monthly quota is less than 25%, their consumed quota will be reset to zero.

Kimi stated that the relevant quota progress indicators are expected to finish updating before 15:00 Beijing Time on October 26. Additionally, the platform has adjusted the K3.1 Pro package parameters to reduce unnecessary sub-agent calls and shorten output length in order to lower quota consumption.
