NVIDIA showcases next-generation CPO solution prototype

At SEMICON West 2026 held in San Francisco, USA, NVIDIA showcased the prototype of the next-generation Co-Packaged Optics (CPO) solution, named OOI (Optics-on-Interposer). NVIDIA did not disclose the commercialization timeline for OOI, but industry insiders expect mass production to begin after 2030.
