Bloomberg Survey: 29% of Respondents Expect BTC to Exceed $100,000 by Year-End When Republicans Control Congress
on Nov. 2, Bloomberg said its survey of 301 investors and financial professionals shows that if the Republican Party controls Congress, 29% of respondents expect Bitcoin to exceed $100,000 by the end of 2026; if the Democratic Party controls Congress, this figure is 8%, and it is 14% if control of Congress is split between the two parties.
The survey used Bitcoin's price of approximately $83,600 at the end of September as its baseline. Under a scenario where the Democratic Party controls Congress, 55% of respondents expect the price to decline by year-end but remain no lower than $60,000, while 16% expect it to fall below $60,000. The survey was conducted from October 2 to 17, with respondents including Bloomberg Terminal clients and website subscribers.
