Analyst: The number of active Bitcoin addresses has decreased by 43% from the peak in December 2024, while the daily transaction volume still exceeds 810,000 BTC

According to on-chain analyst Axel Adler Jr., as of November 1, the 30-day average of active Bitcoin addresses was 629,000, a decrease of 43% from the peak of 1.1 million in December 2024, currently about 10% below the annual average of 702,000.

The same indicator in 2018 had dropped by 50% within three months, while the current decline has lasted nearly two years, at a relatively slow pace.
