The U.S. military is ready to launch a new round of large-scale operations against Iran and can strike within 96 hours of receiving orders.

According to TechFlow, on October 26, CNN reported that two US officials stated that US forces in the Middle East are prepared and will launch a new round of military operations against Iran within 96 hours upon receiving an order from President Donald Trump, with the scope of the operation potentially substantial.

Sources also indicated that the scope of the new US military operation may no longer be limited to strikes against Iranian radar systems, missile launchers, and other military assets capable of rapid recovery. Such operations are often described as "mowing the lawn," aimed at periodically weakening the opponent's military capabilities. Since Trump called off full-scale combat operations earlier this year, the US military has maintained this approach.

An American official stated, "This will be a large-scale operation." Current and former officials familiar with internal US military operational planning discussions echoed similar views. Some believe the question is not whether Trump will order an attack, but when. They suggest the order could be issued at any time before the end of this year, but more likely after the conclusion of the US midterm elections. (Jin10)
