The Innovation Crypto Committee of the cryptocurrency industry calls on the U.S. SEC to clarify the regulatory boundaries of on-chain vaults

According to a report by Crypto in America, the cryptocurrency industry organization the Chamber of Digital Commerce (CCI) and members such as Bitwise, Galaxy Digital, and Morpho submitted a 238-page report to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), urging the regulatory agency to clarify how existing securities laws apply to on-chain vaults and to develop a differentiated regulatory framework based on the level of control that human operators have over user assets and investment decisions.
