Ancient Ethereum Whale Moves ETH Again After 11 Years, 1,500 ETH Deposited to Exchanges

on October 26, monitoring by Ember revealed an ancient whale had subscribed to 100,000 ETH via an ICO in 2015 at a price of $0.311 per coin, costing approximately $31,100. In 2016, the whale sold 50,000 ETH at $5.47 per coin, cashing out roughly $274,000 for a profit of approximately 17x.

The remaining 50,000 ETH were held until now, marking the first transfer after approximately 11 years. Within the past two hours, the whale has transferred out 5,000 ETH, with 1,500 ETH—worth around $3.45 million—already deposited into a centralized exchange.
