Grayscale: Crypto industry development does not depend on Washington; Democratic victory is unlikely to alter the long-term growth trend.

on Nov 5, according to CoinDesk, following the Democrats' victory in the U.S. midterm elections and their expected control of both chambers of Congress, Zach Pandl, Head of Grayscale Research, stated that the foundation for the crypto industry's development is more robust than that of the previous Congress. The industry exhibits bipartisan, global, and institutionalized characteristics and will not stall due to election outcomes. Grayscale previously estimated that 80%–85% of global crypto activity takes place outside the United States, although this figure was based on illustrative calculations, with some indicators covering the entirety of North America.

Robert Mitchnick, Head of BlackRock Digital Assets, stated prior to the announcement of the election results that the elections would have a "limited impact" on product launches and capital inflows, as Bitcoin and Ethereum already possess most of the regulatory clarity required for investment products.
