on November 04, according to an official announcement from LayerZero, the redemption channel for STG holders to exchange STG for ZRO will close on December 15, 2026, after which redemptions will no longer be supported. LayerZero stated that it will collaborate with exchanges, market makers, custodians, and ecosystem partners before the deadline to facilitate token conversion.

Additionally, prior to the Zero mainnet launch, LayerZero will migrate the ZRO contract ownership to its proprietary signing solution OneSig, and adjust the configuration of the ZRO decentralized verifier network (DVN) to 4/4, meaning transaction validation requires approval from all four DVNs.
