Solana Mobile: Malicious app requesting mnemonic phrases has been removed from the app store.
on November 2, according to an official announcement from Solana Mobile, a malicious third-party application named SKR Claim was submitted to the Solana dApp Store, prompting users to input their mnemonic phrases. After the attacker gained unauthorized access to the dApp publishing portal, the application's recommendation and task interfaces were modified.
The app was delisted after being displayed in the recommendation section for approximately one hour, and is currently being removed from all installed devices. Solana Mobile stated that its team has fixed a vulnerability that allowed linking to applications that were not fully published, and reminded users that their team will never ask for mnemonic phrases, crypto assets, or require connecting wallets to other applications or websites to claim airdrops.
