Extended, built by the former Revolut team, announces XTEN tokenomics: 30% airdrop fully unlocked at TGE, up to 5x extra yield on staking

TechFlow Summary: Against the backdrop of intensifying competition in the decentralized perpetual futures sector, Extended, a perpetual DEX project founded by a senior core technology and finance team formerly from the UK digital bank Revolut, has officially released the complete tokenomics for its native token, XTEN.
Diverging from the traditional high-inflation, heavy vesting models prevalent in the market, Extended has adopted an extremely aggressive and highly community-rewarding economic structure: the total token supply is permanently locked at 1 billion at the genesis stage, completely eliminating any inflation and additional minting backdoors; of the 300 million initial airdrops allocated to community points users, 100% of the tokens will be fully unlocked and released at once during the TGE phase, strictly anchoring the initial free float at no more than 30%.
In terms of token utility, Extended has designed a six-tier staking alliance system based on chess rankings, deeply embedding the token into the entire process of trade execution and liquidity provision through tiered fee discounts, vault yield multiplier acceleration, and limited-release reserve rewards; meanwhile, the project has natively integrated Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) on the Arc network for the first time, enabling zero-wrapped bridge asset burning and minting across chains, establishing a token design paradigm for decentralized derivative infrastructure that combines high liquidity with robust regulatory compliance.
XTEN is the native token of the Extended ecosystem and serves as the central hub for exchange fee structures, staking plans, and Vault rewards. Starting from the launch of the Token Generation Event (TGE), staking XTEN allows users to earn staking rewards and unlock exclusive trading fee discounts and Vault yield bonuses.
Core Key Data
Max Supply: 1,000,000,000 XTEN (fixed total of 1 billion).
Community Airdrop Allocation: 300,000,000 XTEN (300 million), 100% immediately fully unlocked at TGE.
TGE Total Unlock Ratio: Approximately 32.9% of the total token supply, with a free float cap not exceeding 30%.
XTEN Staking System: Launched concurrently with TGE, featuring a tiered alliance ranking starting from 500 XTEN.
Community Airdrop Details
The full allocation of 300 million XTEN (exactly 30% of the total token supply) is exclusively designated for eligible participants of the Extended Points Program, and will be fully unlocked upon TGE. Receiving this airdrop asset incurs absolutely zero cost.
To formally receive XTEN tokens, participants must sign the Terms of Service within the official mobile application. Specific term details and the signature opening window will be announced separately.
By default, XTEN will be distributed directly to the original wallet address linked to the created Extended account. Users may also choose to transfer their entire airdrop allocation to another independent self-custody wallet, provided that the target wallet also holds an active Extended account. In this case, both wallets must fully accept the terms and pass relevant compliance qualification reviews.
Users who complete the signature before TGE launches will receive their tokens prior to XTEN being listed on Extended and other trading platforms. Users who sign later will receive their tokens in batches after completing the signature. Distribution may be slightly delayed if further compliance review processes are involved.
After the signature window closes, any unclaimed airdrop token shares will be automatically transferred to the Ecosystem Fund.
Token Utility
The XTEN staking plan will launch simultaneously at TGE. Your staked token balance directly determines your Alliance Tier (League Tier), which seamlessly covers all sub-accounts under your name and directly dictates your fee discount rate, Vault bonus yield multiplier, accelerated Vault deposit cap, and referral commission multiplier.

Fee Discounts
The system includes two independent XTEN fee discount dimensions:
Staking Discount: Based on the user's alliance tier, the discount rate scales from 5% at the Pawn level to 30% at the King level.
XTEN Payment Discount: An additional 10% fee reduction is available when eligible trading fees are settled directly using XTEN tokens. This feature will not be available immediately at TGE but is expected to launch in a subsequent operational phase.
The aforementioned discounts stack multiplicatively with any applicable referral commission discounts. For example, a King-tier user enjoying a 30% staking discount, 10% referral discount, and 10% XTEN payment discount would achieve a maximum comprehensive compounded fee discount of 43.3% across all three tiers when fully applied.
Extended's volume-based tiered fee schedule will be officially introduced during the TGE phase. Complete details on fee and rebate gradients can be found in the official documentation, with all token discounts applied on top of this baseline rate.
Vault Bonus Yield Multiplier
A user's alliance tier directly determines the acceleration multiplier for the bonus yield portion of the Extended Vault, scaling from 0.5x at the Pawn tier to 5x at the King tier, subject to the maximum deposit caps corresponding to each level.
Prior to this, deposit caps for all point tiers were fixed at $300,000. Starting from TGE, deposit caps will be strictly tied to the user's actual staked amount, allowing large-stake holders to enjoy yield bonuses on deposits up to $2 million.
Staking tiers will officially replace the original points ranking mechanism post-TGE. Note that the bonus multiplier applies only to the Vault's bonus yield portion and does not affect the Vault's base benchmark yield; the base yield remains exactly identical across all tiers.
Staking Rewards Mechanism
Staking XTEN continuously earns rewards from the protocol's predetermined limited-release reserve. All rewards originate from the fixed allocation at the genesis stage, with absolutely no new tokens ever being minted beyond this cap.
The release of staked tokens will officially commence in the first Daily Epoch following TGE, distributed to stakers by the Default Prover responsible for settling all transactions on the Arc chain. Once the consensus node is officially activated, stakers must manually delegate their staked XTEN to their chosen validator to continue earning rewards.
The complete detailed token release schedule will be fully disclosed prior to TGE.
Commission Alliance Benefits
Alliance tiers also determine the commission multiplier for trading fees generated by eligible referrers. This multiplier is designed to amplify existing referral earnings and does not independently generate commissions. The Extended Promotion Program will upgrade at TGE to integrate with the new staking multiplier system; refer to the official documentation for more details.
Users wishing to join the promotion commission program can submit applications through official channels.
Unstaking Mechanism
XTEN in staking status cannot be transferred or traded during the entire staking period and the 7-day unstaking queue. Tokens in the unstaking queue do not generate any staking rewards nor count towards alliance tier assessment.
Token Allocation and Vesting Schedule

Ecosystem Allocation
The Ecosystem sector is allocated a total of 200,000,000 XTEN (200 million):
Of these, 150,000,000 XTEN (150 million) are exclusively designated for the Release Reserve Pool, which serves as the sole funding source for staking rewards across the system.
The remaining 50,000,000 XTEN (50 million) are specifically allocated to the Ecosystem Development Fund:
21,410,714 XTEN are retained under the existing framework and follow the investor vesting schedule;
The remaining 28,589,286 XTEN are currently unallocated, reserved specifically for future growth incentives, strategic partnerships, ecosystem grants, and long-term development.
Founder, Team, and Investor Allocation
The Founder, Team, and Early Investors sector collectively allocates 500,000,000 XTEN (500 million, representing 50% of the total supply).
Within this category, no token allocations for founders, team members, or investors can be unlocked during the first 12 months post-listing.
After undergoing a 12-month lockup cliff, founder and team token allocations will gradually vest between month 13 and month 48 through a linear monthly release over 36 equal installments.

Regarding Initial Unlock at TGE: The 300 million community airdrop allocation and the 28,589,286 unallocated Ecosystem Fund tokens will be available for deployment on TGE day.
Of the 300 million airdrop allocation, 17,384,355 tokens belong to point shares earned by Extended's internal market-making team. This team was responsible for the exchange's proprietary market making from November 2024 to April 2026, accumulating points fairly alongside other users while strictly adhering to platform rules. Once the depth and liquidity of the Extended market reached self-sufficiency standards, this market-making operation was fully discontinued. These tokens are currently owned by X10 Ltd., with neither the market-making team nor its counterparties retaining any shares. A portion of these tokens is expected to support liquidity market making upon XTEN listing, with specific mechanisms to be transparently disclosed prior to deployment; the remainder will be fully donated to the Ecosystem Fund at no cost.
Therefore, the actual public free float at TGE will consist solely of XTEN claimed by the community, capped at a maximum of 300 million tokens, strictly limiting their share of the total supply to 30%.
Deflationary Dynamics and Token Buybacks
The maximum supply of XTEN is strictly locked at 1,000,000,000 tokens at the genesis stage. The protocol lacks any inflation mechanisms, extra minting functions, governance paths to raise the total supply cap, or cross-chain backdoors capable of generating additional tokens on other networks.
The total supply will only decrease unidirectionally. XTEN tokens paid as trading fees may be subjected to direct burns. Furthermore, affiliated entities under the Extended Group are authorized to repurchase XTEN on the open market, whether for daily operational needs or treasury management and supply regulation purposes (including executing direct burns upon approval). Upon the official launch of a token buyback program, specific details will be comprehensively made public.
Circle-Native CCTP Cross-Chain Protocol Support
The XTEN token will natively integrate Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) upon listing. XTEN is also the first third-party token to receive native CCTP support on the Arc chain.
Starting from TGE, XTEN can undergo native seamless transfers between the Arc chain and other CCTP-supported blockchain networks by directly burning on one chain and reminting on the destination chain, entirely eliminating reliance on any third-party cross-chain bridges or wrapped credentials. The total circulating supply of XTEN across all chains will remain strictly capped at 1 billion.
European Economic Area (EEA) Spot Trading Compliance Statement
During the initial listing phase, the Extended platform will temporarily suspend spot trading pairs for XTEN to retail users within the European Union (EU).
The EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) imposes highly stringent compliance entry requirements for spot trading of crypto assets. Although MiCA establishes a narrow exemption pathway for fully decentralized services, practical operations make it difficult for Extended and its industry competitors to safely rely on such exemptions.
While risk tolerance for regulatory challenges varies across platforms, our team has opted for a more cautious and restrained compliance path. Our long-term vision is to establish licensed, compliant trading venues in Europe, serving both retail and B2B2C markets through builder-focused code. Any regulatory penalties resulting from unauthorized spot trading in the European Economic Area could jeopardize this grand blueprint and damage our existing and potential partnerships with crypto-native institutions and traditional financial entities.
Nevertheless, point holders within Europe can still claim, hold, stake, and on-chain transfer XTEN normally. XTEN will also be listed on several licensed external trading platforms for public circulation.

Regulatory Compliance and Whitepaper Update Notice
The offering issuer of the XTEN token is Extended Ecosystem Limited, with official contact email legal@extended.exchange.
The XTEN crypto asset whitepaper and detailed issuer information can be publicly accessed in the official documentation.
The XTEN whitepaper was previously formally notified to the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), covering Cyprus and 26 other EU member states. Since the whitepaper submission, certain mechanisms have been optimized and iterated, and will be updated synchronously in the revised whitepaper. Major adjustments include:
Team Vesting Optimization: The original whitepaper applied the same 12-month 25% unlock plan for investors to the team. Founders and the team have now proactively opted to switch to linear monthly uniform releases after the one-year lockup period, completely eliminating concentrated large-scale unlocks at month 12;
Token Release Mechanism: The original whitepaper stipulated that release rewards would not be distributed prior to validator activation. Under the optimized mechanism, token release will commence immediately at the TGE phase, distributed by the Default Prover responsible for Arc transaction settlement;
Timeline Milestones: The original whitepaper set the initial transfer date as November 2, 2026. The revised specific TGE date and distribution timeline will be announced separately;
Vault Yield Multiplier: The original whitepaper did not yet cover the vault yield multiplier tied to staking amounts; this module will be formally completed in the new version.
