Omen AI Acquires Aquatic Labs for $16 Million

on November 2, according to TechCrunch, data center water monitoring startup Omen AI is acquiring its competitor Aquatic Labs for $16 million in cash and stock.

Both companies develop real-time water sensors: Omen AI's sensors detect elements in water, while Aquatic Labs' sensors measure water alkalinity. The teams are integrating the technologies into a single sensor, which is expected to launch early next year.

Aquatic Labs CEO Allan Adams will serve as chief science officer of the combined company. Omen AI previously completed a $31 million Series A funding round in June.
