Bank of England raises interest rates for first time in three years

TechFlow reported on Nov. 5 that the Bank of England raised interest rates by 25 basis points to 4.00%, marking its first rate hike since August 2023, in line with market expectations.

Bank of England Governor Bailey stated that unless the war in Iran is resolved, this is unlikely to be the last rate hike.
