Approximately $2.1 Billion in Stablecoins Frozen, Involving Suspected Theft at Binance

According to TechFlow, on October 30, Whale Alert reported that at 05:13 Beijing Time, an address holding approximately 823 million USDC (worth around $824 million) was frozen. Whale Alert subsequently added that this address, along with two previously frozen USDT addresses (holding approximately 313 million and 971 million USDT respectively), are all connected to the rumored Binance hacking incident.

Based on these figures, the total value of frozen stablecoins linked to the incident currently amounts to approximately $2.1 billion. Furthermore, at 05:22 Beijing Time, another address holding around 65.99 million USDT was frozen, though Whale Alert has not yet clarified whether it is connected to the incident.

TechFlow previously reported that Binance's hot wallet experienced large abnormal outflows early this morning. Binance stated that it is investigating a potential security issue and has not yet confirmed whether user funds have been affected. TechFlow will continue to monitor the situation.
