User Funds Unaffected as Gnosis Pay Consumer Card System Suffers Data Breach

According to monitoring of Gnosis Pay's official blog, Odaily reports that unauthorized access was detected on November 3 in the system supporting Gnosis Pay's branded cards, resulting in the leakage of some customer information. User funds were unaffected. The team began handling the incident within two hours of detection, having already replaced the affected security credentials and patched the vulnerability. The enterprise platform supporting all of its white-label card programs was not affected. Gnosis Pay has sent emails to all affected users informing them of the specific leaked information and has enforced 3D Secure verification for all online card payments. These measures will remain in place until the B2C system is decommissioned as planned on December 20. Gnosis Pay reminds users to be vigilant against phishing messages and never to disclose their mnemonic phrases, private keys, PINs, or full card numbers.
