Anthropic Launches Claude Intelligent Reporting Tool to Monitor Employee AI Usage and Costs

on October 29, Anthropic has launched an intelligent reporting feature for Claude Enterprise users, enabling enterprise administrators to analyze team usage of Claude, workflows, output types, and associated costs. Admins can select a reporting period of up to 28 days across products including Claude conversations, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork.

The tool parses team conversations and categorizes them by workflows such as coding and technical documentation, while flagging sessions that fail to produce actionable outcomes or drift from the primary objective. Anthropic stressed that these reports are designed to evaluate Claude adoption and investment, and should not be used for individual performance reviews or personnel decisions. Organizations can generate up to 10 reports per month at no cost, with additional reports incurring fees.
