TheMarker: Pearl Research Laboratory raised $130 million, with the token increasing by 520% in March, raising transparency concerns

According to Israeli media TheMarker on October 25, the AI mining project Pearl (PRL) has raised a total of $130 million from the Israeli research laboratory Pearl Research Labs, of which $55 million is equity financing and $75 million is for a GPU infrastructure fund. Investors include Lightspeed, Ribbit, and Square Peg.

The report pointed out that the token has increased by approximately 520% within three months since its launch at the end of April, with its circulating market value once rising to $710 million, and its "AI version of Bitcoin" narrative has attracted market attention. However, the report also raised concerns that the company has not fully disclosed the details of the financing and the operational structure of the GPU infrastructure fund, leading to questions about transparency.
