Trump: Willing to grant preemptive pardons to government employees if necessary

According to an interview with the New York Post, U.S. President Trump stated that if Democrats follow through on their threat to sue his government staff, he is willing to offer preemptive pardons to those who have worked for his administration if necessary.

When asked if this would apply to all who have worked for him, Trump said he would do so and mentioned previous pardons for those charged in the January 6 Capitol riot. Regarding the talk of arresting Musk, he said it was just speculation, but there is a need to protect the individuals involved.
