Tether transferred 500 million USDT to Binance

on October 30, according to monitoring by Whale Alert, at 01:28 Beijing Time, 500 million USDT (valued at approximately $499.8 million) was transferred from a Tether Treasury address to the cryptocurrency exchange Binance.

Tether Treasury is the official address used by Tether to issue and distribute USDT. Large USDT inflows directly from this address into exchanges are typically viewed by the market as one of the signals indicating increased on-exchange stablecoin liquidity, but do not directly translate into buying pressure. As of press time, neither Tether nor Binance has commented on the purpose of this transfer.
