Horizen will shut down its cross-chain bridge on November 4, and USDC.e is not included in the refund program.
on November 3, according to an official announcement from Horizen, the cross-chain bridge from Horizen L3 to Base will be shut down at 21:00 Beijing Time on November 4, and users must transfer their assets before the deadline.
USDC.e operated by Stargate is not included in the Horizen DAO's refund plan, and holders must cross-chain transfer them out before the deadline.
Horizen will take a snapshot of balances and staking positions when the bridge closes, and after a one-week public review period, the DAO plans to refund remaining ZEN (including unclaimed staking rewards) and balances exceeding 0.001 ETH to the same addresses on Base, expected to occur in the latter half of November. Horizen stated that the Denim upgrade on Base will render its L3 incapable of processing user transactions, accelerating the network shutdown and migration.
