Lightning Network wallet system LNbits shuts down hosted service instances

on November 9, according to The Defiant, the Lightning Network wallet and account system LNbits has preemptively shut down all instances of its hosted service my.lnbits.com following a wave of attacks, with services expected to resume within 24 hours.

LNbits contributor Ben Arc stated that the security patch is expected to be merged and released within 24 to 48 hours. Previously, LNbits had urged all operators to immediately shut down their LNbits servers.
