CZ: U.S. law enforcement agencies assisted in tracking and freezing Binance's stolen funds

on November 1, Binance co-founder CZ stated U.S. law enforcement agencies, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the United States Secret Service (USSS), and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), provided significant assistance in the Binance theft incident, including tracking and freezing assets.

CZ expressed gratitude to these agencies, noting that their efforts were a key reason Bitcoin did not decline further.

Previously, the FBI stated that North Korea was responsible for the theft of over $6 billion in virtual assets from Binance, and noted that, alongside the USSS and IRS Criminal Investigation, they observed the attackers primarily converting the stolen assets into ETH.
