Several OpenAI user accounts have suddenly been deactivated, with some Pro users claiming they received no prior notice
According to community user feedback, today multiple ChatGPT and OpenAI users reported that their accounts were suddenly deactivated, with the login page displaying "You do not have an account because it has been deleted or deactivated." Some users stated they had not received any email notification beforehand.
According to user feedback, the affected accounts include free API accounts, team shared accounts, and Pro accounts with a monthly subscription fee of $200. Some users reported that their paid accounts, which they had used for years, were deactivated without prior warning, resulting in the loss of access to previously accumulated conversation history and personal memory.
At present, there is insufficient information to confirm that OpenAI is carrying out a large-scale centralized account suspension campaign, and the reasons for the account deactivations and the specific scope of impact remain to be confirmed.
