Binance Hot Wallet Suspected of Unusual Outflows, New Address Now Holds Over $2 Billion in Assets

According to TechFlow, on October 30, CoinDesk reported that on-chain analysts are tracking funds from a Binance wallet being continuously transferred to a new external account, which currently holds over $2 billion in assets including ETH, USDT, and USDC.

Security firm Blockaid stated it is investigating a series of large outflows from Binance hot wallets starting around 04:24 Beijing Time, with on-chain characteristics matching unauthorized fund transfers, though this has not yet been confirmed by Binance. As a result, BNB fell approximately 6% within an hour, BTC dropped about 2% to near $78,800, and ETH declined roughly 3%.

TechFlow previously reported that early today, Whale Alert continuously detected multiple large asset transfers, including USDT, USDC, ETH, and BTC, moving out from Binance. The situation is still developing, please exercise caution.
