Suspected UXLINK hacker opened a 30,000 ETH long position on Hyperliquid, with unrealized gains exceeding $5.6 million.

on October 27, according to Ember monitoring, the suspected hacker who stole approximately $40 million in assets from UXLINK last year recently opened a long position of 30,282 ETH on Hyperliquid at a price of $2,134, with a position value of approximately $70.25 million and an unrealized profit of approximately $5.62 million.

Ember noted that the funding source address for these trades has an on-chain financial link to known UXLINK hacker addresses: both parties transferred their remaining ETH to the same wallet on the same day. Additionally, after consolidating approximately $11.54 million in USDC into the address in early August, it began trading ETH on Hyperliquid, accumulating 6 open positions with 5 profitable trades, resulting in a total profit of approximately $5.71 million.
