Anchorage Digital Expands Partnership with Bitso to Extend Custody Services to US-Mexico Stablecoin Corridor

on October 28, Anchorage Digital announced an expansion of its partnership with Bitso, a Latin American digital financial services group, with Anchorage Digital Bank providing custody services for the Mexican peso stablecoin MXNB across six blockchains: Arbitrum, Base, Ethereum, Polygon, Avalanche, and Arc.

Meanwhile, Western Union's dollar stablecoin USDPT and Tether's dollar stablecoin USAT have been listed on the Bitso platform. Bitso users in Mexico can now buy and sell USDPT directly within the app using pesos. Anchorage Digital stated that this partnership aims to provide regulated stablecoin custody infrastructure for US-Mexico cross-border payment channels.
