Samsung and SK Hynix will begin mass production and deliver HBM4 to Nvidia in Q2 next year.

TechFlow reports that, according to a ZDNet Korea report on Oct. 26, Samsung Electronics and SK hynix have set the mass production and shipment timeline for supplying NVIDIA with 8-layer HBM4 to around the second quarter of next year. A knowledgeable source stated, “Based on my understanding, NVIDIA will equip 8-layer HBM4 across all scales of NVL racks built around Rubin Ultra. Although 12-layer HBM4 will remain the main focus this year, the proportion of 8-layer HBM4 will increase significantly starting from mid-next year.” (Cailian Press)
