Honor CEO George Zhao: The future AI entry point will be born from the moment of user intent
According to the "Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily," Honor CEO Li Jian stated at the 2026 Mobile Network Conference that entering the era of intelligent economy intends to make intention a new scarcity, and the business logic is shifting towards the "intention economy" that monetizes based on results. In the future, AI entry will be born at the moment users generate intentions, with the core value lying in the results entrusted by users each time.
Li Jian pointed out that from intention generation to result delivery, the entire industry still needs to overcome three thresholds: intelligent scarcity, testing whether AI can effectively execute tasks; contextual scarcity, where AI lacks basic capabilities, but what it lacks is the perception of user identity, scenarios, needs, and past behaviors; trust scarcity, where context belongs to the user's personal sovereign assets, and whether to authorize depends on whether AI can be trustworthy, reliable, and controllable. Li Jian stated, "Ability determines how fast AI can go, trust determines how far AI can go."
