SignalPlus: Full Compensation of $81,900 Paid to 23 Affected Users

SignalPlus has released an update on the handling of its security incident, stating that since detecting anomalous activity on November 4, the platform has contained the relevant risks and completed full compensation to all 23 affected users within 72 hours, with total compensation amounting to $81,897.

Following the incident, SignalPlus immediately notified its partner exchanges, recommended suspending all related API keys, and coordinated execution with partners. The platform also suspended affected services and initiated a comprehensive security review. These measures covered all associated accounts, regardless of whether anomalous activity had been detected in those accounts.

Currently, SignalPlus is still conducting its security investigation and system hardening, including strengthening API access requirements, implementing IP whitelist verification, and tightening employee device security and internal access permissions. Related services will be gradually restored after the system review and security upgrades are completed, and the specific restoration timeline and user operation guidelines will be announced through official channels.
