Discord will allow Google to search public server messages starting in December, with users able to manually disable it.
on October 28, according to Cointelegraph, Discord will begin creating web pages for public servers with at least 1,000 members that can be joined without an invite starting November 16, and will allow eligible channel messages to appear in search engine results starting mid-December. Users can disable the "Display my message content on the web" option in User Settings > Data & Privacy. Discord stated that messages posted prior to the launch will not be included in this feature, and usernames and avatars will not be made public alongside the messages; the opt-out setting only applies to messages posted afterward, requiring users to delete already posted messages to request the removal of related content.
