Thailand will block access to the Bitget platform starting December 5.

on November 5, according to an announcement by the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission, the authority has filed a criminal complaint with the Economic Crime Suppression Department against Bitget operator BG Limited for allegedly operating a digital asset trading business without authorization, and has notified the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society to block access to the Bitget platform starting December 5.

The regulator stated that Bitget provided digital asset trading services and charged fees between 2022 and 2025, promoting the services through a Thai-language website and social media. The authority also filed a complaint against an individual suspected of assisting in promoting the platform.
