Reserve Gap Drops to 600 BTC, JAN3 CEO Says Remaining Amount Will Be Transferred to Liquid Federation Wallet in Coming Days

Odaily reports that, according to monitoring by Samson Mow, a test transaction of 2.5 BTC has been sent to the Liquid Federation wallet, reducing the reserve gap to 600 BTC. The remaining 600 BTC will be transferred to the wallet within the next few days, and all network operations continue to function normally. Liquid Network stated that, as part of a phased recovery, BTC and LBTC redemptions were re-enabled last week. Users can once again perform 1:1 swaps between BTC on Bitcoin and LBTC on Liquid through participating providers such as AquaBitcoin, BULLBITCOIN, and side_swap. Before the incident, these providers together accounted for 99% of peg-out transaction volume.
