THORChain Co-founder Responds to FBI's Call for Public Disclosure of Node Data

on November 2, in response to the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) calling for the interception of transactions related to stolen Binance assets, the information held by THORNode operators is already public and available in real-time, allowing investigators to obtain it without a subpoena.

Barraford issued the above response at 08:02 Beijing Time on November 1. The statement concerned information availability and did not commit to intercepting the relevant addresses. Previously, the FBI attributed the theft of over $6 billion in Binance assets to the North Korean hacker group TraderTraitor, and called on THORNode operators and others to intercept transactions involving or originating from the listed addresses.
